Annual plumbing checkup / inspection
Whole-home once-a-year check: fixtures, water heater, shutoffs
Sample pricing — illustrative only, not an offer.
A once-a-year whole-home plumbing inspection — the pro checks your fixtures, water heater, shutoff valves, and water pressure for leaks, corrosion, and small problems before they get expensive. It's a health check, not a repair visit.
What's included
- A whole-home check of fixtures, faucets, toilets, and visible pipes
- An inspection of the water heater, shutoff valves, and water pressure
- Looking for leaks, corrosion, and small problems before they become expensive ones
- A plain-language rundown of what's fine, what to watch, and anything that needs attention
- Inspection only — actual repairs are separate, approved jobs
What to expect
Typical time on site: about 45–60 min
- The pro tests faucets and toilets (a checkup usually takes 45–90 minutes)
- They check under sinks and around the water heater for leaks or corrosion
- They inspect visible pipes and shutoff valves and measure water pressure
- You get a summary of the system's condition and any recommendations — ask for it in writing
- If they find something that needs fixing, they quote it separately and you approve it in the app; nothing gets fixed without your say-so
Good to know
- A yearly checkup is a low-cost way to catch a $50 problem before it becomes a $5,000 one — small drips, high water pressure, and a corroding water heater are exactly what it flags early
- Great after buying a home, before a long trip, or when you 'just have a feeling' something's off
- Use it to learn your home: ask the plumber to show you where your main shutoff is and how to use it
- Since it's inspection, a good outcome may simply be 'everything looks healthy.' Be wary of any inspection that turns into a hard upsell — you approve every repair yourself
Price range explained
You're toward the low end for a smaller home with easy access, and toward the high end for a larger home, more fixtures, or harder-to-reach areas. The pre-visit price is a range confirmed on arrival; the checkup is inspection only, and any repair the pro recommends is quoted and approved separately in the app.

Your plumber absorbs this — they keep 100% of the matched rate (Plumbr's fee is unchanged) and can dispute it after the job.
