Can't name the problem? A licensed pro diagnoses it in person
Sample pricing — illustrative only, not an offer.
Can't name the problem? A licensed pro comes out to diagnose it in person — a strange noise, a smell, water where it shouldn't be, or a mix of little things — and gives you a firm price before any fix. This is the diagnosis visit.
What's included
- A licensed pro coming out to diagnose the problem in person
- Covers a strange noise, a smell, a spot you can't place, water where it shouldn't be, or a mix of little things
- A plain-language explanation of what's actually going on
- A firm price for any fix before work starts
- This is the diagnosis; the repair itself is quoted and approved separately
What to expect
Typical time on site: about 30–45 min
- The pro looks at what's going on (the $89 visit usually takes 30–60 minutes)
- They diagnose the cause
- They give you a firm quote for any repair
- Simple fixes may be doable the same visit; bigger work is scheduled separately
- The $89 credits toward whatever work you approve — nothing beyond the diagnosis happens without your say-so in the app
Good to know
- Book this when you know something's wrong but can't match it to a specific service, or when two or three small issues add up
- If your problem clearly fits a named service (a slow drain, a running toilet, a leak), booking that directly is faster
- Take a couple of photos and note when the problem happens (only hot water? only when it rains?) — it helps the pro diagnose faster
- If water is actively flowing or you smell gas, that's an emergency: shut off the main water or gas and get out if you smell gas
How the diagnostic visit works
Because we can't honestly price a problem we haven't seen, this is a diagnostic-first visit: a flat $89 to come out, figure out what's wrong, and give a firm quote — fully credited toward the repair if you approve it. You'll never get an AI-guessed or firm repair price before the plumber has actually seen it.
Preview only — this does not book a real visit, and nobody is dispatched.
