What to expect

- The pro shuts off the water and removes the old faucet (most installs take 45–90 minutes)
- They mount and seal the new faucet
- They connect and, if needed, replace the supply lines
- They run hot and cold to check for leaks
- If they find seized shutoffs or a leak needing extra parts, that's a photographed change order you approve in the app first

- Installing a faucet you bought is doable DIY if you're comfortable in a tight cabinet; corroded old shutoff valves are the usual reason people call a pro
- Buy a faucet that matches your sink's number of holes (1 vs 3), clear out under the sink, and have the new faucet and parts on hand
Price range explained
You're toward the low end for a simple swap with working shutoffs, and toward the high end when old shutoffs or corroded lines must be replaced, access is tight, or it's a complex fixture. The pre-visit price is a range; the firm number is confirmed on arrival, and new shutoffs or supply lines are approved parts.
